Jordan’s Furniture to Host Walk, this Sunday May 20, 2012

BOSTON, May 17, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) — “What makes a house feel like a home?” asks Jordan’s Furniture CEO Eliot Tatelman. “It’s not furniture,” comes the surprising answer, “It’s family. But thousands of kids living right here in Massachusetts are waiting for all the comforts of home AND family,” he added.

The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), in partnership with Jordan’s Furniture, is organizing the 3rd annual Walk for Adoption to benefit its work to recruit adoptive parents for children and teens in state foster care. Over 2,000 local children are currently growing up in temporary foster care while waiting for permanent, safe, loving homes.
